When a sinister threat from his childhood returns to haunt him, a father desperately fights against his deepest inner fear. But this time the fight is not for himself, but for his family. It is the first PG-13 horror film to feature the “Lionsgate Red Gears” logo since Opsednuta (2012). It was a bit confusing and weird at first, but towards the end the story progressed and I ended up liking how everything was tied together. The main character’s childhood trauma was shown, and what I like about it is that we, the viewers, didn’t know whether the scary scenes were created by imagination or happened. I wasn’t a fan of the acting, but they carried the show well enough to really engage the audience. Overall, it’s a basic but interesting story and definitely worth watching once. I think it was a unique concept and showed childhood trauma well. Some of the scenes were random and poorly written, but they made sense and contributed to the overall story.
